We use zero-trust encryption to encrypt your files. When you upload a file your file will be encrypted before it is transferred to our server, during the transition we will be using TLS to encrypt our communication channels and once our server receives the file, it will be encrypted again before storing on the encrypted partition assigned to you. Once you sign off from the account your partition will be locked.
We use an array of private keys to encrypt your content. A key will be assigned to each device you log in to your account. Your private key array will generated when you create your account and will be encrypted with your password.
We don't store a user’s passwords or recovery keys. In case you lose or forget your password, you can use your recovery key to decrypt your data and reset the password.
You can request to delete your data. The request will be honoured immediately and your data will be wiped off from our servers in the below order: account meta-data -> key array -> encrypted partition with all files -> files stored on 3rd party cloud providers.
When you request to share a file, a copy of the file will be encrypted using the password you provided on your device, when the file is requested to be opened, the decryption will be happening on the device.
